Hey Readers,
IF you’ve been following along, then you should know that this is the “exciting conlusion” to my Lower CPC mini-course.
So by now, if you’ve implemented the techniques I laid out before you, then hopefully you’ve lowered your cpc in these ways:
- Using Your Keywords multiple times in your ads, therefore increasing relevancy, and making your ad stand out with bolded words
- Keeping your Ad running over a long period of time. By having your ad displayed for weeks in a row, your CPC inevitably goes down. The best example of this is bidding high in the beginning and lowering CPC as the weeks go by.
- Using your same keyword(s) from part one in your landing page. You’ll want to use the base keyword at least 5 times in the heading and natural text. Also use variations.
- Writing really great looking ads, to increase CTR, and lower the impressions count. The higher your click thru, the lower your CPC will go. (goes along with part 2) Also, if you get a click thru of higher than I think 5% then your ad will go to the top of the results page instead of the right side (if there isn’t already 3 ads there…)

Hey everyone.
Sorry I was away from you again…
Do you still remember me? Kidding again…
Time for another “Lower your CPC” Lesson!
Strap on your bockles kids; PPC School’s in Session!
Alright, so here’s what I’ve covered so far…
- Keyword Multiple Times in the Ad…
- Time: Overtime, your ad’s cost will lower…
- Keyword Multiple times on the landing page..
Now we come to A Formula for Google, and here it is:
Are you ready? It’s crazy, you sure you’re ready? JK -
Higher CTR = Lower CPC. That’s it.
SO you’ll want to increase your CTR to lower your CPC. How do you do that? 2 ways actually:
- Write really attention grabbing ads. People can’t irresist them. People “HAVE TO” click on your ads. The more they click on your ads, with less impressions = good for you… Also
- Be in front of Targeted traffic in the first place! If you’re tlaking about a particular product or niche, then damn it, talk about that niche or product in the ad only!
With really interesting, relevant ads, and tons of “clickers” your CPC will go down…
Hope that helps! Adwords on Overdrive is only weeks Away! See you then!

Part 3 to lower CPC is one that is relatively easy to understand and here it is: Put the keyword you use for your ad, multiple times across your landing page. Again, real simple. MOst people don’t even think about this. They just send the traffic along to some page that mayt have some relevancy to their keyword, but ultimately, if you want to pay less cost per click, put your keyword on your landing page (or the destination page) multiple times, and in different instances. For example. Say my keyword was “adwords Miracle.” I might use the following on my landing page:
- Adwords miracle
- Adword Miracles
- Adwords Miracles
- “Adwords Miracle”
- AdwordsMiracle
- Adword Miracle
Just by placing the word multiple times in the page you are directing your traffic to, you also increase relevancy score and lower CPC.
That’s it. Keep it readers, only two more to go…

The second method of lowering your CPC that I have for you is this: Time.
You may be asking yourself, ‘what the hell does that mean?’
Exactly what it is. Here it is in lamen’s terms:
As your ad stays out there for a period of time, the Cost per Click will eventually lower. That’s it. Sounds simple right?
Wrong. It is a bit more complicated than just that…
There are two things you have to do to utilize this:
- Even the CPC will go down, you will over time have to lower your maximum CPC YOURSELF. You might not be paying as much, but it could just mean that competition is dying down. This doesn’t mean that it couldn’t go up later. You will have to lower the max yourself every now and then… Then comes part 2…
- You have to bid higher than the minimum bid in the first place. If you bid just the minimum, you will pay less than the person paying a lot be on the top… But you also won’t lower your cpc very fast. I like to bid high, to get a high ranking, then lower it over time…
So just keep these two things in mind as you go about your marketing, and you should do just fine…
Good luck!
