Did you know that Internet marketing gurus access the power of each other’s subscriber list and knowledge to make even more money and keep you out on internet land by yourself to try to catch up with them? If you have previously received an email from one of those Internet Marketing gurus about allegedly how easy it is to reach success online in a really quick timeframe, then perhaps that left you thinking, “Yeah ok, pull the other one. I’ve heard it all before…”

And if that was what was going on in the back of your mind then I can totally understand why.

It seems that we continually get told how easy this internet marketing stuff is, but yet we continually flop at every hurdle. But there’s a reason behind this, and I will explain:

1. The system

Obviously, it starts with a SEOPressFormula system that works but there’s more to it than that. Ultimately, you need a system that SUITS your learning style and personal tastes. That’s why I don’t think everything you’re being pitched is going to work for you, simply based on who you are and how you learn.

The only way around this is to understand what you’re getting into before you buy, which is why I review products for people in the first place.

Secondly, you sometimes have to take a step back and avoid the products that are hard sold to you, because they might be ahead of where you are right now. In other words, if you’re starting out or not making profit at all right now, then a full blown course on copywriting is probably not the best option for you.

It’s far better in that case to go for something that will get the wheels turning as quickly as possible, particularly if you’re still working a 9-5 job.

2. Motivation & Focus

Once most people make a purchase, they read through, get overwhelmed and “take a break”. But from there on out, the motivation to take action slips away. It’s not just about the product either, because even the best product in the world will mean nothing if you’re struggling with motivation and/or focus.

I’m not talking about going to a Tony Robbins seminar here. I’m talking about setting out a plan and making a conscious effort to stick to it. Cross off tasks as you get through it all. You’ll get much more done and let me tell you something - once you see initial results, you’ll be hooked and driven to work even harder.

I can’t physically stand over your shoulder all day and I’m sure you wouldn’t want me to. But what I can do is tell you that if you’re struggling to get off the starting block (or you’ve battled with getting traffic from Google and still make a profit), then SEOPressFormula is the product for you.

The Bad: There are really two things that should be taken into consideration before purchasing G Wealth Wiz Dos…

1. The price of $77 is only for the first few days. After that, you get thrown to the dogs, and the price jumps up to AT LEAST $97…
2. This may teach you some great key features, but to me this is not the “next big thing”…

The Ugly: The ugly truth is this…

Overall, I give this system a 3.5 out 5.

If you’re not making at least a thousand a day in AM revenue, then you should check out this system…

While this system may be worth the price, it does fall short in originality. For that, I highly suggest Affiliate payload (my latest favorite)…

Also, not everyone will find the information refreshing. Again, new techniques are present, yet lacking at the same time.

Leveraging other’s knowledge

Joint venture partners are like friends. Meh, probably not like - joint venture partners are friends. They share stories, experiences, give opinions and help each other out.

For example, when one my friends helped me out when my blog got hacked. When a friend of mine suggested to buy my own design. Or even YOUR simple comments on my post giving your opinions bout it.

Leveraging other’s resources

This type of joint venture is probably the most common - yet, the most effective of all. I can explain this in long paragraphs but what’s the point if I can explain it one word…

Sharing.

When someone forget their allowance in our school, we let them have a share on ours for that day. When someone forgot to bring their books, we let them borrow ours - but of course, you need to payback somehow. Just like in this type of joint venture. Here are some spot-on examples…

• Swapping email broadcasts - One of the fastest way to build your list is by swapping email broadcasts. The concept is simple, you send my squeeze page to your list and I’ll send yours. You can do this too on your products, I promote your product, you promote mine. It’s a win win ;-)
• Collecting gifts for exposure - The recent Blogging Olympics 2008 is using this type of joint venture. The sponsors got the stuff - and I have the traffic.
• Affiliate - The most common of em’ all - you drive traffic to my site and I pay you according to our deal. It could be per sale, per lead or just per visitor.
• Angel investors - Most web 2.0 startups are using this kind of joint venture so someone could fund them on programming, etc. You could do this in a smaller scale too or in other ways. For example, you have a friend who’s got an attitude in writing but does not know how to blog. Go buy him a domain, install WordPress and plaster some ads - then let him write.

There are literally tens of ways you can do with this type of joint venture. Be creative.

Leveraging other’s brand

You could get instant popularity with this type of JV - and there’s no better example to this than… Oprah. Everything she touches, turns to gold. In our century’s words, turns to a million dollar business. Yeeeep, million.

It’s the same online, if a hard-hitting marketer promotes your site, product or simply… you - chaching!

Here are some spot-on examples for this kind of joint venture…

• Seminar plugs - I never experienced to do a seminar before but I’ve learned this through my mentor, Joel Christopher. Man this guy’s a raging gunner when it comes to seminars and the like - he’s been doin it for years. When he invites someone to speak in his seminar, he gives them a chance to promote their product for a certain amount of time, most likely after the speech. Imagine if you are nobody and speaking with someone like Joel, your reputation will fly off the roof!
• Recommendation - The most common thing you see everyday, ads, salesletters, etc. - testimonials are everywhere. Why? Because it works. Not only that it’s a proof that this product is what it tells it to be but also by levereging the brand of the guy who gave the testimonial. What if you’re a tech blogger, not that great content but not that bad too AND you have a testimonial from Steve Jobs. Would that make a difference? ;-)
• Your product, my upsell - Some people who are looking to add more income for every lead - upsells (Selling something after the first sale). For example, I’m Apple and I’m selling an iPod - you’re some brand and you sell this unique iPod cases, we could partner up, who wins? You, you were no one then but now that you are partnered with me, you are a brand.

Be creative.

There are tons of ways of doin joint ventures, the examples here are made spot-on. Mix and match them, jumble them a bit, experiment.

It can be daunting to find out that I cannot subscribe on the RSS feed to subscribe anonymously.  On one hand, his visitors might be mostly potential MLM business partners who probably seldom use RSS feed readers and hence the email will be more useful.  On the other hand, I can still find RSS links in his other pages of the blog.

Nice About-Me Page In His Personal Blog

I found his about-me page quite personal when he shows himself semi-retiring with a few vacations, having his new car, and having a nice six-figure annual income.  And not to forget about his new baby girl arriving into his world.  He has managed to get out of his job to work at home with a nice six-figure annual income where he only needs a 22-second walk to his office!

MLM and The Berry Tree

This blog is built with an introduction of the visitors to Shane Woods’ team of The Berry Tree.  There is not much information about The Berry Tree, but there is a YouTube video to watch about its benefits.  It makes use of the website’s most significant purpose which is to capture leads by their emails.  This will allow them to do a follow-up with the interested visitors.  Visitors have given them the permission to contact them and to build up relationship.

How to Contact Shane Woods

While I see most blogs having a form to fill in directly to contact the blogger, Shane Woods preferred to show his email address and his phone number to contact him directly.  It shows how personal he can be to his visitors.

As an Internet reviewer, I would still suggest him to put up a simple contact form for easy and smooth transaction of contacting him for any question in the visitor’s mind.

Conclusion

This blog is simple to read, easy to understand from the visitors’ point of view.  It probably needs just a little more time to catch up with its contents for both the visitors and the search engines to pick up its pace.  It has a pretty good blog presentation as I have no problem trying to understand the blog.  It also has relevant blog contents to keep the readers interested.  But more page contents as well as blog contents will definitely make the blog look more complete.
