In my type of marketing, I do 2 things:

1. Write reviews for affiliate products. Yes, I do have affiliate links, but I’m also not afraid to talk about lame products, or product downsides.

2. Offer a slammin’ bonus. This is to increase the buyer’s instinct to buy from your link, and credit you with the sale.

The combination of the two is how I have made my living the last couple of years, and I continue to follow this strategy daily.

But, there are a lot of people that get hung up on which aspect is more important. So which is it?

Well, they are of equal importance really. Now, I don’t have enough time to go into each aspect (but maybe a post each in the future) but here’s a brief rundown of how to maximize on both:

The Review

When it comes to the product, here are some simple tips you can implement:

-> Briefly mention what the product does, and how it can help the user or solve a problem. People buy products to solve a problem (income, something done for them, so on).

-> Do the “compliment sandwich”: Mention why the product is great, give a valid downside, then end with a strong benefit for buying.

-> Another simple format you can follow is the “overview+bad+good+verdict” format that I usually used to follow. It has served me well over the years and it has worked time and time again.

Overall, just be honest and transparent with people. if it didn’t change your life, but it does work – then tell people!

The Bonus

When it comes to your bonus, here are some tips you can use:

-> Give as great a package as you can

-> Tell them how they can use it to further their goals and how it compliments the product you are selling.

-> Be as original as possible. If all you have is MRR or PLR items, then offer them – but try to add a personal touch!

-> Make your bonus sound as great as possible, without being “over the top”. Don’t say a product is worth $997 if in fact you got it for $1. Create some limits and focus on the benefits of each item you are presenting.

Last Minute Tips

-> Have a clear call to action at the end of your page like “click here to get product Name + my bonus FREE”

-> Limit your bonus, and seriously do it. Set a limit like “first 25″ and more importantly, have a reson WHY you’re limiting it in the first place (competition, saturation, whatever)

-> Tell them why you’re bonus is the obvious choice, and what it’ll do for them – then tell them to take action

Conclusion

If you combine these tips, you can be well on your way to creating profitable review/bonus pages that will make you money time and time again.

This goes out to anyone that is using the excuse that they have no money to build a website; thus they can’t make money online.

That is some garbage. A giant slice of profit that I have made came from FREE pages…

And today, I’m going to tell you EXACTLY what you need to do in order to make a FREE website….

STEP 1

First decide on the type of site you’re going to build.

It really doesn’t matter if you’re going to sell something, make money from Adsense or promote affiliate products – just decide.

STEP 2

Decide what the content of you’re site is going to look like AHEAD of time.

If you have a lot of content, you can build a WIKI site.

If you’re going to have static pages, but you also want a blog as well, get a Blogger blog or a Weebly site.

If you want to build FULL websites, and you have the HTML or files already, then just to a place like Bravenet for free hosting and just add your pages to the site.

 If you just want a static page that ranks well, and you don’t have to add stuff after that, then just build a Squidoo lens or create a Hubpage.

STEP 3

Put it altogether.

Now, I can’t build your site for you (well I could but I would charge…) so you need to figure out what kind of site you need, and then just go create a one.

Here are the combinations I think work best (from past experience):

SINGLE PAGED SITE – Squidoo or Hubpages – These are for promoting a single product as an affiliate. They don’t really work well for adsense revenue or selling products. Use as a link/ratings booster, and paste a bunch of links within it to your other pages.

FREE BLOG - Blogger (or other similar equivalent) – These rank pretty quickly so they are a great idea to begin with. Blogs are best for Adsense and promoting affiliate products. If you had you’re own products, you could also use your blog as a traffic booster to those pages.

FREE WIKI SITE – Wikidot or Wetpaint – Wikis are great if you have a lot of text dominant pages. I use wikis to promote affiliate products. They’re not really good for adsense or your own products.

FREE WEBSITE BUILDER – Weebly – With Weebly you can create a blog or static site in minutes. Pretty cool. I recommend for adsense or affiliate products. You can also use them for selling your own products, because you can make static pages, but the templates are a little weak, so I wouldn’t recommend it….

FREE HOSTING - Bravenet – With Bravenet, you can build REAL, fully functional websites. You can add HTML, whole pages or even use their website building tools. I used to use them when I had no money for hosting – so no excuses. I f you need to put your site somewhere – that is the place to go.

There you have it. Now get out there and start making some damn money already!
