My Ugly Christmas gift…
Now, before I even go a step further, let me say that this is not what you think it is….
This post is NOT about an ugly sweater or some other physical item…
No, this “gift” is actually something that happened.
See, earlier this week, my lovely wife went to the doctor for some issues she was having. While we were there, we found out that she has diabetes. So we had blood work done, and found out that she has type 1 diabetes (the worse of the 2, for those that don’t know like I didn’t), and she was then admitted to the hospital later that night. That was Wednesday.
It is now 10:30pm Friday evening. Now, of course we were hoping to leave yesterday or even earlier today, it did not turn out this way, and we have to stay yet another night.
Overall, Christmas was NOT ruined. While we did not get to psend much time with family (including our kids), I do consider a nice break (even though I get stir crazy from being inside all day).
Initially, my wife was at a point where she did not want to believe it and was even scared somewhat, but she is doing better now, and I know that God will take care of her and the entire situation overall.
As for myself, I’m taking it all pretty well, but it just sucks to see my better half going through all this. We did learn a lot though about dieting, insulin and the disease itself.
In short, I simply want to wish everyone a (late) merry christmas or happy (insert holiday here).
If you believe in prayer, I simply ask that you would pray that we can get out of here sometime soon.
If you don’t then that is fine, no pressure – but maybe a nice comment below would do some good.
I appreciate either, and I hope you are all well on your holidays and hope that you stay safe!

Coty:
There should be no comments here that plug products or leave links; this should be a place where our concerns, our thoughts, and our hearts are with you and your lovely wife. God has given you a Christmas gift that sounds ugly but is manageable. Remember his own promise, Coty, that the angel told Mary: “For nothing is impossible with God.” Remember what Paul said: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” May God give you peace, love, joy and hope this Christmas and know that there are some things in life, most things, that are more important than affiliate links and making money online. NO amount of money can touch the special blessing of family…this is a gift of God through Jesus Christ. Coty, I support you, love you, and believe God’s best in you for your wife and for your kids. We must all support you and love you in this time. Know that I am here for you, brother, whenever you need me. Let’s pray:
“God, you are the Lord of our lives and the Master of our hearts. I pray that you will be with Coty’s wife and family and give them the strength to trust in you in the midst of all this difficulty. Remind them of your word and continue to love them God so that this situation will bring others closer to your will. Thank you for my friend Coty and I pray that you will continue to show him your grace and peace in the new year. Most of all, God, send your Spirit to guide them in your will…Amen.”
Coty…Mandi and I love you brother. God bless you and your wife and kids. You will get through this only with Christ’s help. Lastly, I pray that others will be sensitive to you in this time with no trackbacks or affiliate links so that you can know that there are genuine people who care about you in this ever-growing cyberspace community we call internet marketing. Love you bro…God bless!

Hi Coty,
Just wanted to wish you and your wife the best.
Sorry to hear of the recent news about her health problems.
Sure will pray for god to heal her and to make her whole again.
Like Will said in the previous post that this reply has nothing to do with money or our interest in affilate market but is centered wholely on your wife’s situation to get better.
God bless you and your family and wish you a very merry christmas.
Coty….
Your wife will be fine and so will you and the kids. Consider this a wake-up call for everyone you know. Thanx for letting us know.
Take care!
Rich
We all sympathise my friend, but this can make you both stronger in the Lord – there is a purpose in all this.
Be strong for each other and especially your kids, remember you all need each other now more than ever.
Regards and Respect
Geoff
Sorry to hear that Coty. I’ll pray for you and your family.
You need to deal with this decisively, which means you have plenty of options to get it under control.
I have 2 friends that got type 2 diabetes, had to take meds, the while 9 yards. But they each started eating raw food. Not 100% raw, but they just ate more raw foods than before like vegetables and fruit instead of chips, etc. Within a week their blood sugar was down to a point where they don’t need diabetes meds anymore.
Check out http://www.Raw-Food-Repair.com for more info. It’s my friend’s website. He had lymphoma before he was diagnosed with diabetes.
I hope it helps.
Best,
Raza
My blessings go out to your wife and family. Shower her with as much love and support as you can. I’m sure the transition won’t be an easy one.

Type 1 diabetes is not fun. I’m keeping her in my prayers. That was one sobering Christmas “present”. I only wish you could return it!
Best,
