Google Sniper or Affiliate X?

by Internet Marketing Advice on November 2, 2009

Here is a great question that I was asked by a viewer:

Hey, came across your videos and was very interested and glad to see someone with real information and “true” opinions. I am looking for information on affiliate marketing and have one question. I see you are marketing both google sniper and affiliateX and was wondering which program you recommend MORE. I am a newbie to marketing, but do have experience with wordpress, websites, graphics and what not, but have no knowledge of SEO. Which one of these would you recommend for me? Also, I can see what some of the differences are between the two, but are these programs offering the same information or do they offer different techniques and strategies? One last question…. I promise!!!! Do you recommend joining sites like wealthy affiliate university.com? Or will I get the kind of information they offer through one of these programs? I am definitely looking to learn ALL I can. Thanks so much for your response, I hold your opinion highly.

Here is my response:

As far as methods go – very different.

The whole Google sniper method is basically just that – one method of creating niche “mini sites” that are very easy to build, and then moving onto the next site. Each site being built in a day or so (it really can be done, I tried it myself). Then getting them ranked in Google.

As for AX, its completely different. Affiliate X isn’t “based” on one technique, but instead provides tons of content in 3 hot areas – SEO, Adwords and Twitter.

It also provides lots of content based on affiliate marketing in general and comes with advanced training tools.

For which one I recommend… Well they’re both good, I guess it just depends on what you’re looking for:

An easy to follow, proven technique, OR

Lots of great tips and tactics for a couple of different affiliate marketing methods.

Hope that helps (it mighta made it worse, sorry).

PS. As for WAU, I hear they are good, and the forums are great, but I’ve never used them personally.
