Stock Markets Give Back Most Of Mondays Gains

Stock indexes had a rough day on Tuesday, giving up nearly of the gains made on Monday. The Dow Jones Industrial Average lost 82.38 points or almost one percent, the Nasdaq gave up 9 points or half a percent and the Standard and Poors 500 Index, the broadest of the three, was down 7.91 points or 0.85 percent.
